The Whole Experience
Courses are conducted in a hands-on environment where students receive instruction from written course notes, audio visual presentations and live demonstrations.
The Academy of Creative Photography believes that one can be taught the theory but to truly understand photographic concepts one needs to put these skills into practice.
Students will have the privilege of honing their newly acquired skills in our fully equipped, professional photographic studio.
All software training courses take place in our state of the art, fully equipped Digital Classroom accommodating 10 students
Delicious home-made pizzas are available during all our evening courses at R35 per head to keep the hunger at bay whilst you concentrate on learning photography.
Upon course completion you may feel you require more personalised tuition. Individual sessions are available to deal with any specific assistance you may require.

With a combined 25 years of commercial photographic experience between them, Mike Pawley and Pierre vd Walt posses a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the art of photography.
Their passion for creating is evident in their professional portfolios as well as in the eagerness with which they present our photography courses.
Graham Baird , a zoologist by profession , has worked as a game ranger since the 1970s , having operated as a field guide for the Natal Parks board at Lake St Lucia , Hluhluwe and Itala parks , to name a few .
Being immersed in these wonderful surroundings Graham starting taking photographs which very quickly became a second passion of his, and has been photographing seriously for the last 40 years .
His work encompasses his travels right through Africa , Borneo and Sumatra.
Just by looking at his photographs and listening to him speak one is transported for a moment in time to some of these wonderful places leaving you with a desire to do just the same.
Our instructors all believe that any photographic tuition must add practical value to the students photographic ability and it is in this vein that all the courses are designed and conducted.
Drawing from their extensive experience they are able to impart practical, hands-on, to the point skills, techniques and advice to the student in a fun and exciting manner, always inspiring the student to explore their creativity to the full.
